BILINGUAL TÉLLEZ TRAVELS ABROAD

Last January, a group of students of 4º grade and 3º grade of this school went on a trip to Ireland. It was fantastic and we met a lot of people and learned a lot.

We got to Ireland by plane and we took a bus to get to the village where we would meet our host families, Kilkenny. They were fantastic: they were so kind that we felt overwhelmed at the beginning. I remember I got sick during the trip, and it was at night when I came up to my host father and told him what was happening. He took care of me all the time and I got better next morning!

On our trip we went to an academy where we studied English with a unique method. We read, wrote and played games with natives and we had a good time. We also did small trips to interesting places in Kilkenny such as the castle, the cathedrals or the caves. But that isn’t all: we also visited Dublin! It is an amazing city: it’s big and it’s crowded but not as much as other Spain cities. It was beautiful and had amazing buildings. I remember how amazed we were when we saw the GPO (General Post Office) or the Trinity College.

We had a very good time on our trip to Ireland and I would for sure come back again. I hope many other students go on a trip like that and learn a lot of English!
