Fifty-two spectacular images from the National Geographic archive, taken by the most prestigious naturalist photographers, which show us the areas with the greatest biodiversity on the planet.

An exhibition that aims to show the beauty of our planet and create a space for reflection on the effects of human activity.

Cincuenta y dos espectaculares imágenes del archivo de National Geographic, tomadas por los fotógrafos naturalistas más prestigiosos, que nos presentan las zonas con mayor biodiversidad del planeta.

Una exposición que pretende mostrar la belleza de nuestro planeta y crear un espacio de reflexión sobre los efectos de la actividad humana.

TREASURE HUNT

Treasure hunt

After measuring the school, we drew and digitised the plan of the school.

Once the plan was ready, we went out into the playground and held an orienteering gymkhana. 

The pupils were divided into groups to hide clues and mark them on the map. Then they exchanged maps and the search began.

We had a great time!

Búsqueda del tesoro

Tras medir el instituto,hemos dibujado y digitalizado el plano del centro.

Una vez listo el plano hemos salido al patio y hemos realizado una gimkana de orientación. 

Los alumnos divididos por grupos escondían pistas y las marcaban en el plano. Después intercambiaban planos y comenzaba la búsqueda.

¡Lo hemos pasado genial!

MEASURING

 The 1st ESO students have gone out to the playground in Maths class.

We have introduced the contents of the 3rd evaluation in a different way.... We are going to study units of measurement, plans, scales, etc. and we have started practising.

They have had to measure different spaces in the school and draw them to scale. 

They have been very motivated and interested and have learned a lot. 

We are missing the second part.... we will have to digitalise our work and the result will be used in Physical Education class for orientation practice.

 Los alumnos de 1º ESO han salido al patio en clase de Matemáticas.

Hemos introducido los contenidos de la 3ª evaluación de una forma diferente....vamos a estudiar unidades de medida, planos, escalas, etc y hemos empezado practicando.

Han tenido que medir distintos espacios del centro y dibujarlos a escala. 

Han estado muy motivados e interesados y han aprendido un montón. 

Nos falta la segunda parte....tendremos que digitalizar después nuestro trabajo y el resultado lo utilizarán en clase de Educación Física para hacer prácticas de orientación.

LEARNING MATHS

     Learning Maths is awesome with our super teacher Lara!!!! 

  We have been learning about measuringreal things and  spaces around the school. The use of Maths in real contexts  makes it easier to understand the concepts we are learning.  The use of rulers and measuring tapes we have found it quite easier to understand the authentic use of Maths in our everyday life as well as we develop our mathematical competence.

   ¡¡¡¡Aprender Matemáticas es increíble con nuestra súper profesora Lara!!!! 

  Hemos estado aprendiendo a medir cosas y espacios reales en el colegio. El uso de las matemáticas en contextos reales facilita la comprensión de los conceptos que estamos aprendiendo.  El uso de reglas y cintas métricas nos ha facilitado la comprensión del uso auténtico de las Matemáticas en nuestra vida cotidiana, así como el desarrollo de nuestra competencia matemática.
